Getting Clear About Common Anxiety Symptoms

Getting Clear About Common Anxiety Symptoms

Cautionary bulletins regarding medical and health cases like  cardiac arrest or strokes appear to be surfacing all over our radio these days.  TV and radio ads tell us what to do if we feel dizziness, fainting, numbness, and so on.  However, hardly ever will we witness an ad detailing common anxiety symptoms, which is particularly uncaring considering a lot of people get them and are usually confused by them.

Experiencing anxiety symptoms is extremely common in our modern culture, where we face high pressure situations on a ongoing basis.  Whether it is the distress that we might be off-course in an unknown location or we’re going to be late for a critical appointment or when the phone rings out of the blue, we all come face to face with anxiety at some point in our lives.  Lots of us however may feel anxiety symptoms for what appears to be no cause whatsoever, and can misconstrue the symptoms with the symptoms of getting a heart attack or some other medical condition.  People who suffer from panic attacks frequently confuse these symptoms.

Panic disorder symptoms are definitely different for everyone, and frequently it’s apparent that you’re just having anxiety – just before speaking in public, when they’re about to be married, when you open your front door and see a weird looking stranger standing there; these situations might easily make any of us stressed and panic ridden!  Although for many of us, anxiety symptoms may also include shortness of breath, heart contractions, vommiting, chest pains, constricted breathing, tingling or numbness in the fingers, face, or toes.  Stomach aches, and headaches are not uncommon either.  You can appreciate how these could simply be misdiagnosed as a heart attack or asthma or any variety of other conditions.

If you get these anxiety symptoms on a sporadic basis, and especially if they happen to happen for no reason, you should probably visit your doctor.  For starters, you’ll want to rule out the potential of it being a cardiac arrest or something that dangerous.  Then, he or she can prescribe drugs or therapy that can help you cope with the anxiety symptoms while simultaneously working with you to understand why you are tense and anxious to begin with.  You could have some chemical imbalances in the brain or could need to practice a number of new positive techniques on how to process an event so that you’ll be able to minimize the flaring up of an anxiety attack before it gets too severe.

I managed to treat my panic disorder after years of struggling and dragging my family through the devastation with me.  The cure I used was entirely natural, medication-free and didn’t require expensive counseling – I’m overjoyed to say that I’ve been free of anxiety for a number of years now, I only wish I had used it years earlier.
